My Art and the Pink Studio
My inspiration comes from my Creator, the beauty of nature, the enduring charm of heirloom treasures, and the warmth of home and family. My art celebrates faith, home and sweet nostalgia through soft colors, sweet details and vintage-style motifs.
Why Pink? It's my favorite color so it was a perfect choice for my studio walls and for the name of my art business. Pink is soft, sweet, cozy, romantic, hopeful, peaceful, and gentle. On a deeper level, it's also associated with comfort, joy and healing.
I experienced firsthand the powerful impact art can have on someone when my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. In her final months, she treasured my painting of a spring landscape, finding comfort and peace in its message of hope and new life. My goal is to create meaningful art that will touch people's hearts in uniquely personal ways. Not everything I create will have the color pink in it, but my intention is that it will carry the "spirit of Pink" to help people bring hope, joy and comfort into their homes and lives.
