My art journey began in childhood when I would draw pictures on anything I could find (including my grade school math papers). From pencils and crayons, I progressed to oil paints, pen-and-ink, colored pencils, acrylic paints and watercolors. In recent years, I have fallen in love with digital art and enjoy all the exciting possibilities creating art on the computer offers.
My favorite color is pink so it was an easy choice for the walls of my studio and for the name of my art. The color pink is also associated with comfort, joy and healing.
God’s amazing creation inspires me and I love to create digital paintings of landscapes, gardens and flowers. My goal is to create beautiful scenes which take the viewer to places of peace, hope and comfort. I have experienced firsthand the impact art can have on someone, especially in difficult times. After my mother was diagnosed with cancer, I brought her my painting of a spring landscape. It became a source of hope and comfort in her last days as it reminded her that the best is yet to come. My goal for each piece I create is that it will touch the viewer's heart in a unique and personal way.
I love to share my art in different ways. My digital paintings can be printed as wall art or on one-of-a-kind products including clothing, home décor and much more. My products are currently available at AnneLindley's Redbubble shop and QuietWaterDesigns on Etsy.com.
